Serai - The lemongrass

Serai Inn offers you delightful informal atmosphere and warm hospitality.

'Serai' is the Malay word for lemongrass, a plant native to tropical regions including Malaysia. Lemongrass is known for its calming effect that relieves insomnia and stress. This name was chosen because Serai inn signifies a place where you can rest and relax to overcome tiredness after a long trip.

The owners

Serai Inn is run by three “travel-holics” who have travelled to 31 countries across 5 continents. We travelled independently and often stayed at budget hotel or hostel. We enjoy meeting people from all over the world hence comes the idea of setting up a guesthouse for backpackers. Serai Inn is established mostly based on what we have learnt when travelling. Rest assured, as backpackers ourselves we understand your needs and we are committed to make your holiday a sweet memory.
